OPINIONATED

Presumably many heard Frank Skinner last night on his TV Show, "Opinionated," quip that one of the tiers of his wedding cake lasted longer than the marriage itself, which broke down after only 10 months. Regrettably, how true this must be in so many cases.

There is an old tradition that you keep a layer of the wedding cake for the christening cake. Presumably from the days when contraception wasn't so good and/or there were a lot of 'honeymoon' babies. My Greatgrandparents were married in June, my Grandad arrived in October the same year there's nothing new under the sun - so it hardly had time to go off!
